ON-AIR PERSONALITIES

THE CHEF
M-F 6A-10A | SAT 12-2PM | SUN 6:30A-11A
No Lowcountry radio personality is more involved in the community than “The Chef” (aka: Edwin Wright). Chef’s radio career has spanned 4 decades since his start at WMCJ in Moncks Corner on “Sports Beat,” the award-winning show he cohosted with NFL running back Rolland Harper. Soon after, the legendary Clyde Jones and the late Jessie Williams brought Chef to Charleston where, today, he provides inspiration and praise, and leads “The Heaven Squad” weekday mornings. Along with his many broadcast awards, Chef has been honored with the keys to both the City of Charleston and the City of North Charleston. As much as anyone on your radio, Chef serves God, his family and our Lowcountry community.
