Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound phone calls with clients and employees
Create and maintain accurate sales records using Microsoft 360 programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Generate sales proposals and contracts, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
Support and coordinate with sales team to assist in achieving budgetary goals
Assist with marketing initiatives and research potential sales opportunities.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the company.

Qualifications:

Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft 360 (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Comfort with making and receiving phone calls is essential.
A motivated and self-directed individual with a positive attitude.
Experience within the media industry a plus.

Job Title: IT Network Support Specialist

Its strategy is to operate top billing radio stations in mid-sized markets with a focus on decentralized local management responsible for day-to-day operations. Saga began operations in 1986 and became a publicly traded company in December 1992.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in one of America’s most beautiful and fastest growing cities – Charleston, SC – for an IT Network Support Specialist. The IT Network Support Specialist will be responsible for technical support, troubleshooting desktop computers and providing help desk support with a focus on information technology.

Qualifications

Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Desktop Computers and Information Technology
Experience in Help Desk Support
Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
Ability to Work in Team Environment
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or Related Field.

Saga Communications is looking for a full-time dual-role position for our properties in Hilton Head and Charleston to join our talented support staff. We are looking for a hardworking individual that has a working knowledge of the traffic and continuity department and can assist in sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding or willing to learn our traffic and continuity system
Ability to create proposals with sales team
Ability to talk to clients and handle challenging situations with grace
Oversee the commercial logs for four stations
Participates in station Programming, Promotions, and Sales meetings and events
Other duties as assigned

INITIATIVES

The employment unit engaged in the following broad outreach initiatives in accordance with various elements of FCC Rule 73.2080(c)(2):

Participated in job fairs* by station personnel who have substantial responsibility in making hiring decisions.*	3.09.24 – Our stations participated in the 2024 Charleston Black Expo. The mission of the Black Expo is to promote economic development through increased exposure for minority-owned businesses. CRG’S radio stations WXST, WXST-HD2, and WSPO had booths set-up at the Event. Personalities from each of the 3 stations engaged with Expo attendees providing them with employment opportunities with Charleston Radio Group. 4.17.24 – SC Broadcasting Association Job Fair in Columbia, SC. It was attended by Special Project Director and Office Manager. Open positions job descriptions were handed out to candidates.
Established an internship* program designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcasting employment.*	1 intern for the Summer of 2023. She attends North Carolina A&T.
Participated in scholarship* programs designed to assist students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting.*	Academic All-Stars is an annual program hosted by WXST personality Geno Jones. Each weekday during the school year, once the first set of report cards are released, family’s nominate children who either have received straight A’s or have had perfect attendance. Each weekday, a new child is recognized and honored as an “Academic All-Star”.
Sponsored at least 2 events* in the community designed to inform and educate the public as to employment opportunities in broadcasting.*	8/26/23 Boyz to Men Conference held at West Ashley High School. This event was hosted by Palmetto Hope Network. WXST-FM/Star 99.7’s Geno Jones was a featured afternoon speaker at this conference. As part of his presentation, Geno spoke of the importance of employment and having a job. He also shared his experiences and career opportunities in the broadcasting industry. 10/15/23 Town of Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival. WCKN-FM was a partner in the annual Town of Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival. At the station booth at the festival, WCKN personality Brian Cleary recorded voices of festival Goers to give to those in attendance to let them see What it would be like to be “on the air”. Those Recordings were played back so the individuals could hear their recorded voice. He also showed Them how audio affects could be placed on there Voice to better showcase their broadcasting skills.
